BIO

Anand Nainar have been studying relationships between forests, agriculture and water in hope of preserving water resources and preventing disasters.

Through science, he is interested in generating knowledge that can be applied in the real world so that sustainability can be on pace with development.

Past positions include being a Lead Researcher in the Royal Society - South East Asia Rainforest Research Programme, Sustainability Consultant in BSD Consultancy Sdn. Bhd., Research Associate in Swansea University, and Special Researcher in the University of Tokyo. He now serves in the Faculty of Tropical Forestry in Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
